SAIC is seeking a Project Lead with a background in leading technical projects such as tasking with batteries, printed circuit boards, and critical electronics to support the US Navy in Crane, IN.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsible for management support of task orders for NCWC Crane Division, in accordance with contract requirements for technical, schedule, cost, and financial performance.       

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage day-to-day technical project execution, including risk, customer relationships, and program staffing at the Project level. 
• Provide technical support directly for the projects to ensure timelines and technical requirements are met.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and escalate challenges to SAIC leadership. Support proposals and be able to support significant capture efforts and proposals.
• Primary customer interface for technical matters, information sharing, and basic problem resolution. 
• Conduct employee performance reviews, compensation-related actions, and staffing and hiring recommendations. 

Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor's degree and three (3) years or more of related experience.  Master's and zero (0) years of experience. 
• Must have experience in managing DoD contracts based on Cost Plus and understand Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) deliverables. 

REQUIRED CLEARANCE:

• Interim secret clearance required to start with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
• US Citizenship required

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Prefer either a technical or engineering degree
