SAIC has an opening for a Software Test Engineer in Colorado Springs, CO to support the United States Space Force National Test and Training Center – Digital develop, implement, and document test procedures.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Develop and execute test plans to validate software functionality against requirements and specifications.
- Perform functional, performance, security and regression testing in an M&S Framework software environment
- Recommend procedure adjustments that will overcome minor software issues until they are corrected
- Analyze system requirement documents and develop test cases that will isolate and illuminate those requirements in the system's software
- Create problem reports and technical letters for the reporting of software issues
- Working in an Agile development environment
- Lead and mentor junior engineers and provide oversite and guidance
Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelors and five (5)+ years of related experience; additional four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree
- Experience working with automated testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, etc.
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Experience in Test Engineering execution and development across the software stack
REQUIRED CLEARANCE:
- Must have a current Active Secret Clearance with ability to obtain a Top Secret
- Must be a current US Citizen
Target salary range: $125,001 - $150,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
