We are looking for a processing relief operator to join our team! Founded in 1945, Schreiber Foods provides dairy favorites to people around the globe. Schreiber Foods is a very stable company, everyone needs to eat!

Rate of Pay: $26.01 per hour, Earning potential is up to $80,000 annually.

  • Additional $0.50 per hour shift premium for working second shift.
  • Additional $1.00 per hour shift premium for working third shift.

$2,000 sign on bonus, paid in the first year, based on good employment standing for full-time third shift positions.

Shift/Schedule:

2nd Shift (1:45pm to 9:45pm)

3rd Shift (9:45pm to 5:45am)

Overtime is expected and weekend work is common. Overtime is paid on 8+ hours in a day, time and half paid on Saturdays and double time paid on Sundays. Work week also includes a guaranteed 40 hours.

Job Duties:

  • Learn three areas in our Process area such as: Whey Ultra-Filtration room, separator operators, intake and batch room

  • Operate cheese separators to remove whey from cheese mix producing uniform cream cheese within customer specifications

  • Use computer to calculate quantities of raw materials needed to batch cream cheese mix for following day's separating. 

  • Operate pasteurizing equipment to produce mix based on these calculations.

  • Take samples and test solids of cream cheese products in standardizing system and adjust, if needed, within customer product specifications.

  • Complete all paperwork associated with equipment settings, products produced, and work performed.

  • Perform CIP, COP, and various cleanup functions on tanks, transfer lines, pasteurizer, and vats, as needed.

  • Attendance is an essential function

  • Other duties as assigned by leader

  • Ability to operate manufacturing equipment safely with minimal supervision
  • Mechanically inclined
  • Self-motivated, detail orientated individual who possesses a results-oriented mindset in a team environment
  • Basic math skills and reading comprehension
  • No degree is required
Physical Demands:
  • Stand up to 12 hours per day
  • Lift/Carry up to 50 pounds up to 4 times per hour
  • Work in cold, hot or wet environment
  • Ability to lift and reach shoulder height and above repetitively frequently
