The Lead will cultivate an environment of care for the associate and the customer while overseeing the day-to-day operations of the QC department.
Provide leadership, guidance and support to the team of associates.
To grade and inspect carpet processed on the QC Inspection Table.
To communicate the necessary information to process the inspected rolls.
To delegate duties to the other QC employees as needed to promote a safe and efficient operation.
To coordinate the daily work assignments of the Inspection Table.
Ensure splits are processed correctly.
Update computer on changes made to the carpet.
Assist Inventory Control and other departments with identifying rolls.
Assign duties to LTO's.
Any other duties deemed necessary by management.
Communicate with both internal and external customers.
Manage calendar appointments for inspections and reviews.
Maintain beneficial working relationships with on site Corporate Quality Personnel.
This is a 2nd shift position with the hours of 3pm-11pm and overtime as necessary.
Proven leadership skills
Ability to work with all levels of the organization
Strong customer service skills
Previous experience working in Quality Control
Experience in a leadership role such as, a Lead, Back-Up Lead, Supervisor, etc.
