Position Summary:
The Controller will report to the International Controller, and work in coordination and collaboration with the US accounting group on policies and procedures and consolidation of financial results of the Israel business. This role will be responsible for global accounting functions including month end close, annual statutory audits and VAT for all Israel entities in the Company's portfolio.

Job Duties & Responsibilities (for each international SIG entity):
*Responsible for ensuring books and records are produced in a timely, accurate manner. Maintain integrity maintained from GAAP, management, and tax points of view.
*Directs, supports, and where necessary, performs the duties of general and international accounting.
*Direct the budgeting, forecasting, and analysis processes.
*Responsible for compliance of global transfer price strategy and participate in development of such strategies.
*Leads the development and oversight of required financial systems, policies, procedures, and internal controls.
*Manages any annual external audit and ensures compliance with local Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), applicable regulatory and governance requirements including internal polies and procedures.
*Provides timely strategic decision support for the Leadership team.
*Support potential system conversions, as well as system implementation for start-up entities.
*Support local CEO to facilitate implementation of overall Company objectives.

Education and/or Experience:
*Undergraduate degree in accounting.
*7+ years of related audit or applicable work experience, attaining either level of Sr. Manager in public accounting or level of Controller in private enterprise.
*Certified Public Accountant and/or international equivalent.
*Strong command of the English language (verbal, written, and comprehension).
*Experience in a manufacturing, sales and/or distribution environment is highly preferable.
*Knowledge of finance and accounting controls, policies, and procedures and the ability to provide solutions to control issues.
*Willingness to support a strong risk and control environment by playing an advisory role in the business.
*Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
*Excellent leadership and communication skills.
*Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
*Adhere to reporting deadlines and complete work assignments in an accurate and timely manner.
*Experience with accounting systems, such as but not limited to Hyperion, Oracle, UKG.
*Experience with leveraging business systems to create system workflow processes to improve efficiencies and controls, and system report writing capabilities.
*Experience in accounting and financial system conversions.

Working Conditions:
*Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer using a keyboard and mouse performing repetitive tasks.
*Ability to open file cabinets, reach with hands and arms, bend and twist, lift and move files.
*Able to lift up to 25 pounds.
*Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) where required.
*Must comply with all work exposure EH&S training requirements and adhere to SIG SAUER Inc. Security Mandates.
