Shipper - Receiver

2nd Shift

Position Summary:
The position is responsible for the receipt, verification, and delivery of products to the company facility. Additional responsibilities include shipping out orders and other materials accurately and in a timely manner. 

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
*Perform receiving duties to include unloading trucks and visually inspecting packages for damage.
*Visually inspect items using packing lists and Purchase Orders to ensure correct parts and quantities are received.
*Count or weigh parts to verify quantity.
*Ensure all packages are labeled correctly with the company transit label.
*Use manual and powered material handling equipment to deliver products and materials to appropriate locations.
*Work in conjunction with the other shippers to ship out orders in a timely manner.
*Ability to understand and execute all shipping-related paperwork, staging, and necessary Oracle and Ship Console functions.
*Understand and implement required procedures (Standard Operations Instructions) as established in the Sig Sauer Quality Manual.
*Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
*Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Education and/or Experience: 
*Prior Receiving Experience and Oracle experience a plus. 
*Must be able to work well in a team environment.
*Must be able to work under the direction of a manager and lead.
*Must be able to follow established safety procedures and COVID protocols.
*Workers are expected to help meet and exceed predetermined daily, weekly, and monthly production goals.

Working Conditions:
*Employee is occasionally required to sit; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, or crouch. *The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
*Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) which is required in designated area.
