The Chief Business Development Officer will be responsible for identifying business growth and diversity opportunities, developing strategic growth plans, and ensuring the successful completion of our short- and long-term financial growth goals. He / She will be responsible for the executive of the business development workflow to ensure SINGH is meeting its sales goals. They will report on revenue streams and provide forecasting reports. He / She will also be expected to support and coordinate collaborations across relevant departments when executing different marketing, sales, and general business development activities. This is a highly outward-facing role. 

Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing a comprehensive growth strategy.
  • Responsible for overseeing all aspects of positioning, capture management, and proposal development.
  • Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully facilitating the use of best practices for business development companywide.
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, including partnerships and market expansion.
  • Present sales revenue and realistic forecasts to the CEO
  • Monitoring and analyzing market trends and competitor activity.
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new client needs and competition status across geographic locations.
  • Developing and managing the budget for growth initiatives.
  • Serving as a key member of the executive team in tandem with the CEO, contributing to the strategic goals of the company.
  • Build and maintain trusting and long-lasting relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.

 

  • Master's degree in marketing or an MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a leadership role in Marketing or Business Development
  • Proven history of identifying growth-enabling initiatives and opportunities, preferably in the Engineering Industry.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to operate in a high-speed, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent strategic, planning, organizational and interpersonal skills
