The Quality Inspector will be part of a collaborative team that ensures only the best products are made, and that we are producing labels which show our level of pride and care. Every day we bring our customers' labels and packaging to life, creating a customer experience that is second to none, and enabling them to stand out over the competition. Shift Available: Tuesday-Friday, Day Shift, 10 hours/shift

Compensation is based on skills and experience

Key Responsibilities for Quality Inspector include:    

  • Test and inspect products at various stages of the production process and compile data from the tests
  • Assist with maintaining quality and reliability of products
  • Support the Operational Excellence Manager with the ISO and BRC quality systems
  • Help increase awareness of what staff should be looking for to eliminate defects based on findings  
  • Work closely with all departments to continue to improve the level of service and quality provided to our customers  
  • Assist with developing and maintaining SOPs in compliance with ISO and Lean Manufacturing  
  • Identify, recommend, and implement areas for Lean improvement/modification

The ideal candidate must demonstrate:   

  • Attention to detail, organization, effective time management, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent interpersonal, collaborative, and relationship building skills to effectively work with a diverse group of employees
  • High level of customer service; responding promptly to the inquires and needs of individuals, both internal and external to the organization
  • Effective communication, verbal and written
  • Strong desire to elevate quality and safety levels across the organization

Education, Skills, and Experience:

  • Required: High school degree or equivalent
  • Required: 0-2 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Required: Gain certification in basic HACCP
  • Required: Ability to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions in the English language
  • Preferred: Two or more years direct work experience in a quality control capacity in the printing industry
  • A Plus: Experience with Lean Manufacturing and BRC quality systems
