South Bay Hospital is situated in the beautiful Sun City Center, serving one of the fasted growing areas in the state. Our growing 138-bed acute care hospital offers a full spectrum of healthcare services.
The CT Technologist provides computerized assisted tomographic services to patients as ordered by physicians and will be competent in all of the following: brain, total spine, facial, sinus, orbits, thorax, abdomen, pelvis, upper/lower extremities, sella, biopsies.
- ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications
- Current Florida CRT license required
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
- Customer service abilities, including effective listening skills.
- Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs.
