Southcoast Woman's Care is a well-established OB/GYN practice in Fall River, MA. As an Advanced practitioner at Southcoast Woman's Care, you would be part of a collaborative, compassionate team caring for our patients. Collaboration with physicians available at all times in a supportive environment.
We are currently seeking a Women's Health Certified Physician Assistant to join our well established OB/GYN practice 4 days per week. As part of our team, the Advanced Practitioner will provide a full range of women's health care services to our patients, including:
- Well woman visits
- GYN problem visits - assessment, diagnosis and treatment
- Colposcopy in office (will provide training program)
- Endometrial biopsy, vulvar biopsy
- STI testing, diagnosis and treatment
- Contraception counseling/family planning
- Preconception care
- Pregnancy management including high-risk pregnancy in collaboration with physicians
- Post-partum care
- Management of perimenopause and menopause
- Prescribe/insert/remove IUDs and Nexplanon
- Assist in surgery (will provide training program)
- Hospital rounds when needed
- Current Massachusetts license
- Mass DPH Controlled Substance registration (or be eligible for)
- DEA registration (or be eligible for)
- Experience preferred but new grads welcome
