Description

We are looking for an associate surgeon with a quick transition to partnership for our practice in southern Minnesota. We have been successful in recruiting and retaining one new surgeon and having them accept a partnership in the last 3 years to replace retiring partners. We have another partner who is ready to retire when we find a good candidate for a new associate. The surgeon would be based out of Rochester, MN, and work at a second clinic no more than 2 days a week. Our offices focus on dentoalveolar surgery, implants and grafting, pathology, and orthognathic surgery. All surgeons are board-certified and we would want our candidate to be either board certified or working towards this.

Benefits of being an associate with our practice includes a 4 day work week, malpractice insurance, health, and dental insurance, 1 in 5 weekend call schedule, paid vacation and paid CE time off, car allowance and gas paid, dues to professional organizations paid, and a retirement plan. We offer a competitive salary for the area and have a very reasonable buy-in price. We would offer a partnership buy-in within a year of starting with the practice.

Rochester MN is a growing community with extensive diversity and culture due to the presence of Mayo Clinic and IBM as major employers in the city. Mayo Clinic is currently making multi-million dollar investments in the city as they grow their destination medical center plan. It is projected that the city population may double in the next 20 years. We have planned for this by relocating and opening a brand new larger clinic in the Spring of 2019. Our practice has a digital server-based patient record and CT scanners in 3 of our locations, including Rochester.

Rochester is consistently ranked on the top of many livability lists, with an extensive trail system and green spaces, an international airport, great restaurants, shopping, and a thriving art and music scene. There are excellent public school system and several private options as well.Living in the Rochester area gives you access to all MN professional-based and collegiate Big 10 sports and easy access for the outdoor enthusiast for fishing/boating, hunting, and hiking in the bluffs.

Must be able to work in the US.
