Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree 
  • Ability to coordinate and communicate tactfully and sensitively with industry, government, and foreign partners
  • Sound judgment and effective oral and written communication skills
  • 3-Years Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Training Management Experience with one of the following agencies:
    • Naval Education and Training Security Assistance Field Activity (NETSAFA)
    • Air Force Security Assistance Training (AFSAT) squadron
    • Security Assistance Training Management Organization (SATMO)
  • Current DoD security clearance (minimum Secret level)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat

 

Desired Qualifications: 

  • Experience working with the following stakeholders:
    • Navy International Programs Office (NIPO)
    • Secretary of the Air Force International Affairs (SAFIA)
    • Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army for Defense Exports and Cooperation (DASA DE&C)
    • U.S. and Foreign Embassies, specifically Office of Defense Cooperation (ODC)
  • Previous role as an International Military Student Officer (IMSO)
  • Familiarity with Virginia Class Submarines (VCS)
  • Student Management
  • Experience with submarine maintenance


Responsibilities

The Private Industry Training Pipeline Manager will manage the training of Australian personnel in coordination with private industry, the Office of Defense Cooperation (ODC), the International Military Student Officer (IMSO), and the Case Manager. They represent the AUKUS Integration and Acquisition (I&A) International Program Manager, in the performance of their duties and assignments.
