Your Role: - Our Mechanical Engineer will provide technical engineering support for Hydraulic, Powertrain, Engine and Machining departments as well as associated processes through all phases of product development and remanufacturing.
- About the Job:
- Provide production support to all production departments
- Assist with coordinating and developing new product
- Develop Bills-of-Material with expected parts replacement
- Design special tooling, fixturing, and/or gauges needed to maintain safety and quality on new products
- Develop and document standard work practices and specifications for disassembly, salvage, assemble and testing processes
- Create and maintain electronic work instructions, procedures, and other production documentation
- Provide training on new processes and procedures where applicable
- Work closely with production departments to reduce job costs through analyzing job records, coordinating new remanufacturing processes, driving improvement activities and benchmarking industry standards
- Ensure environmental compliance with various standards and governmental agencies
- Skills and Abilities
- Possesses a high level of mechanical aptitude
- Ability to use and specify all types of mechanical measuring devices
- Possesses knowledge of CAD software
- Competent oral and written communication skills
- Computer proficiency with Excel, Word and Outlook
- Education Requirements
- BS in Mechanical Engineering
