Job Description
The SS&C Product Development Team is seeking a skilled Director of Data to lead the development of a data strategy that makes data as accessible, shareable, and actionable for all stakeholders.
What You Will Get to Do:
Work closely with various teams across the enterprise to conceive, prototype, evaluate, and commercialize new ways to leverage large data resources by creating new product and service offerings as well as enhancing our existing ones.
Be a leader with broad operational or functional responsibilities who participates with other senior leaders or executives to establish and ensure the achievement of strategic plans and objectives.
Demonstrate in-depth company knowledge, specialized skills, and influence to solve critical and complex issues.
Participate in the development and administration of broad-scope programs and projects that have significant impact on operational or functional success.
Constantly improve data structure and quality in collaboration with partner teams
What You Will Bring:
Minimally requires a Master's degree and 8 years of related experience, or Bachelor's degree and 10 years of related experience, or high school degree and 12 years of related experience.
Strong understanding of data systems and integration patterns
Desire to stay current with industry trends and best practices in data analytics and management of customer data
Knowledge of data governance policies and procedures
Demonstrated leadership abilities and strategic mindset, with ability to commercialize and productize solutions.
Strong communication, presentation, and relationship management skills
Ability to balance multiple priorities and manage complex initiatives.
