Job Description

Systems Analysts on the Systems Solutions team are responsible for proactively monitoring our software applications running within hundreds of client enterprise environments. To deliver on our charter, we escalate and resolve critical alerts and issues while utilizing custom internally developed, as well as industry standard, monitoring tools and platforms that provide real-time insight into our global client base. Functions that we monitor include our proprietary file transfer / scheduling platforms, Data Services, and the industry standardized FIX protocol. Application errors, events and conditions are alerted through our Sentry platform; FIX connectivity and messages are actioned immediately by our real-time globally dispersed monitoring platform directly connecting our team to client IT environments. There are many touch points across the Eze application suite, and Systems Analysts are critical in maintaining consistency, accuracy and availability for our clients across global trading markets. Delivering on our mission to provide point-in-time proactive insight is paramount to the overall success of the Solutions model. In doing so, Systems Solutions escalates as well as resolves. Top Monitoring Responsibilities:

  • Our Internal tool is a secure data aggregation, file transfer/transformation and scheduling service that interconnects 3rd party and Eze internal systems together to perform various functions. It also allows for the import/export of large amounts of data; transformation of file formats for compatible use with our OMS or 3rd party systems; and the scheduling and customization of a multitude of processes used to intake finalized trade data and start of day positions. Systems Analysts monitor all aspects of these processes for all clients.
  • Systems Analysts monitor FIX messages and line connectivity for all clients. FIX messages have inbound and outbound flows, and our team makes sure that we resolve or escalate, based on type, any alert processed through our monitoring console.

Job Functions:

  • Proactively monitor and fix all the client based environments
  • Makes sure that the environment is up and running before and after the exchanges of the regions APAC, EMEA and NOAM opens and closes respectively.
  • Makes sure FIX connectivity is up and running
    • Coordinates and leads selected client communications (phone, email) to gather requirements, discuss technical configuration options and provide status updates.
    • Escalate and resolve critical alerts and issues
    • Actively engage with stakeholders to identify areas of inefficiency and improve internal team processes.
    • Help develop repeatable implementation plans to consistently and efficiently deliver against company, team, and individual goals critical to various projects.
    • Establish a strong relationship with internal and external clients.
    • Serve as a knowledge resource to immediate team members.
    • Assist with escalated inquired both internal and external.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with Engagement Managers and Client Success Managers

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 2-5 years of professional experience in either a financial services or technology support role preferred.
  • Experience and strong understanding of the Investment Lifecycle with a focus on front/middle/back-office operations.
  • Working knowledge of domestic and international equity, fixed income, and derivative products. 
  • Demonstrated Problem Tickets/Projects management and organizational skills; must have the ability to prioritize and manage multiple Tickets/Projects effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have analytical thinking and problem solving abilities
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Effective communication skills to set internal and external expectations.
  • Working knowledge of relational databases, Windows server environments and experience learning new technical tools.
  • Client Services function works in shifts to support our stakeholders 24x6, for all the days in a calendar year. The working hours, number of working days in a week, weekly - off will depend upon the requirements of the function. Our team members work a standard 40 hours per week excluding a daily lunch/dinner break of one hour.
