Job Description

Supervises day-to-day operations of client support and strategic client relationship management. Manages client workflow and project scheduling, ensures accurate client billing, and ensures adherence to contractual obligations. Manages client expectations and proactively develops client solutions to address future business needs. Resolves difficult, complex, and escalated issues. Participates in the negotiation of service level agreements and contracts and develops Request for Proposals for prospective clients. Develops and facilitates formal internal training classes. Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for leading a new team of 8 - 10 BOC business associates who will provide daily support and reporting needs for GIDS clients who are part of the Shared Services Support model.
  • The position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to multi-task.
  • The ability to handle critical support items from the client, and proactively provide communication back to the client is required.
  • The associate will be responsible for mentoring and training new business associates in their team. Candidate will work closely with their technical counterparts in BOC, as well as the managers in Kansas City.
  • May be required to work outside of normally scheduled hours as mandated by the client, project, and/or workload (e.g., evenings, weekends, and/or holidays); amount of notice may vary
  • They will be responsible for goal setting, merit and other compensation reviews, and other supervisory functions.
  • The associate will need to know how to navigate the organization and work with different SS&C teams to resolve research items.
  • Candidate will need to be able to assist and provide direction on tickets within their team, which requires strong research skills.
  • The associate will be responsible for providing metrics reporting for their team.

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree and 5 years of work-related experience
  • Excellent communication in English with the ability to effectively collaborate with both clients and technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to execute multiple assignments, handle critical support items from the client within an established timeframe, proactively provide communication back to the client is required.
  • Problem solving skills; ability to confidently recommend solutions on the basis of prior analysis.
  • Ability to mentor and train new business associates in their team.
  • Good leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to keep a positive attitude to team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Time management and organizational skills.
