Summary

The Social Media & Digital Content, Sr. Marketing Associate, will serve as a key team member on Stifel's award-winning Social Media & Digital Content team within the Marketing department. The main function of our team is to assist Stifel Financial Advisors and associates with their digital presence and communications. Our content library is the primary resource for advisors to efficiently locate and distribute relevant content on social media, websites, and directly with clients.

The ideal candidate for this role has a strong attention to detail, is an excellent communicator, and is a motivated self-starter. Your focus will be maintaining of Stifel's library of digital content and content management platform as it relates to content management, strategy, and distribution. You will also be encouraged to find new ways to improve our current content marketing practices and processes.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage the growing library of content – track and upload materials; ensure pieces are up-to-date, organized, and easy to locate.
• Assist with the maintenance of Stifel's content management platform, upholding relationships with the third-party vendor to ensure that the application meets the department and firm's needs on an ongoing basis.
• Become the go-to resource as it relates to utilizing the content management and publishing platform, providing assistance to Stifel associates on best practices, locating materials, and articulating value.
• Build training materials as necessary for the successful use and adoption of the platform.
• Coordinate with marketing, design, and writing teams to ensure the timely delivery of requests.
• Identify trends and support strategic initiatives; work collaboratively with department leaders, writers, and graphic designers to create relevant and compelling content, while maintaining a consistent voice and adhering to brand standards.
• Run periodic reports to provide insights on usage to users and management. Use stats to identify which materials should continue to be utilized or updated and which should be retired.

Qualifications

• Prior marketing, content management, financial services, social media, or related experience desired. Awareness of limitations in a highly-regulated industry is a plus.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels of the firm.
• Excellent communicator, creative thinker, strong organizational ability, and attention to detail.
• Experience with LinkedIn, Facebook Pages, and/or Facebook Ad Manager is a plus.
• Ability to work as part of a team or individually, depending on project requirements and scope.

Education and Experience

• Minimum Required: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Journalism, or related field
• Minimum Required: 2+ years related experience
