Job Description

Physician Assistant – Urgent Care Center

Berkeley Heights, NJ – Full Time

If you are looking for a collaborative, dynamic, physician-led practice environment where you can learn, grow, and excel in providing integrated, multidisciplinary, patient centered care, then Summit Health is the place to be! We are seeking a licensed Physician Assistantto work collaboratively with our Urgent Care Department.

Requirements include:

  • Current New Jersey State PA License
  • NCCPA Certification
  • 2+ years of related experience preferred
  • Solid decision-making, analytical, time-management, and communication skills

Responsibilities include:

  • Identifying chief complaints/issues
  • Obtaining detailed and accurate patient histories
  • Performing physical exams
  • Performing procedures including suturing, splinting and abscess draining
  • Interpreting diagnostic and other test results
  • Communicating and educating patients
