Summary: Tetra Tech is seeking a Process-Mechanical designer proficient in Autocad 3D Plant with industrial experience in the renewable energy and manufacturing sectors. The designer will be responsible as the design technical lead and project manager on Waste-to-Energy, landfill gas, anaerobic digestion, biogas, bioenergy and renewable natural gas projects.

 

Your Role:

  • Create and edit P&IDs and 3D models.
  • Create piping orthographic and isometrics to standards.
  • Perform editing, revisions, or updates the mechanical system drawings while maintaining company CAD Standards.
  • Provide conceptual layouts with knowledge of equipment and piping spatial requirements.
  • Create detailed design drawings.
  • Design of various processes for projects related to RNG, Bioenergy, water treatment, etc.
  • Assist in the creation of technical documentation, specifications, and operating procedures.
  • Work with and supplement other staff members and support staff to complete projects in a timely manner.
  • Collaborates with the Development team in the preparation of bills of material and evaluation of product technical data.
  • Review and maintain design documents to company or client standards to provide accurate design package.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years of demonstrated experience in the use of 3D Plant or equivalent.
  • Utilize 3D Plant with a knowledge base of the toolsets.
  • Must be an effective communicator in a challenging and fast-paced environment.
  • Must have the ability to utilize other modelling software such as solidworks, to properly design and represent a variety of operations.
  • Must be able to manage efforts, prioritizing task and resources.
  • Must be familiar with Microsoft Office products such as: Microsoft Windows – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • A Pre-employment drug screening in compliance with state regulations is required.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record without restrictions.
