Summary:  Tetra Tech is looking for an experienced, proactive project assistant to work collaboratively with our team on a specific long-term project in East Brunswick, NJ. In this role, you will oversee tasks delegated to you by the project manager, coordinate with all necessary vendors and service providers, and serve as a point of contact for our clients. You will need to be highly organized, adaptable, and able to prioritize tasks while working independently. The ability to motivate others and keep them organized in a positive and encouraging manner is also a must-have skill in this position. Your Role: o Work collaboratively with the project manager and team to maximize productivity.  o Collaborate with the whole project team, contributing to the entire project lifecycle.  o Utilize data/information to appropriately complete, prepare, assemble, process, and/or generate reports in a timely manner and in accordance with applicable policies, procedures, and guidelines.  o Enter data electronically in an efficient manner and in the prescribed format.  o Communicate promptly with team regarding inconsistent or erroneous data.  o Prepare, assemble, process, and/or generate professional business documents.  o Assemble data/information to appropriately respond to inquiries, questions, or requests.  o Proactively communicate accurate information to clients in a courteous, prompt, and helpful manner  o Demonstrate commitment to clients' needs.   o Maintain confidentiality and security of information and materials.  o Ensure all daily paperwork is completed and properly filed, both paper and electronic copies  o Communicate with laboratory for ordering sampling containers and shipping samples.   o Order field equipment, tools and parts   o Equipment maintenance orders and shipment (packing and delivering to shipping facility)  o Communicate and coordinate truck maintenance including, repairs, inspections, and drive trucks to and from the maintenance shop.  o Order field office supplies, including ordering for delivery or direct purchase and pickups.  o Pick up deliveries from the clients main building.  o Perform monthly audit of office trailer, including fleet first aid kits and fire extinguishers.  o Arrange annual professional service for fire extinguishers.  o Communicate with our client's administrative team regarding Purchase Orders, PCARD receipts (NAES' pcard), etc. o Complete safety training as assigned, and wear personal protective equipment as assigned or required.  o Other duties as assigned.   Qualifications: o Associate or bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred  o Minimum of 2 years' relevant work experience in project or construction administrative assistant field support  o Must be proficient in the use of the PC, specifically with the Microsoft Office suite of products (Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and other processing programs.  o Must have reporting experience, administrative writing skills, process management experience, organization skills, time management, information analysis, professionalism, and problem solving.  o Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills  o Keen attention to detail and an aptitude for problem-solving  o Collaborative working style and team-player attitude  o Positive and encouraging personality.  o Able to work independently with little supervision.  o Highly motivated with a strong work ethic  o Reliable, trustworthy, and committed to the team's success  o Outstanding organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.  o Able to thrive in a high-volume, deadline-driven work environment.  Physical Demands:
