If this sounds appealing to you, then consider our Transportation Engineer, PE opportunity. The position is based in Tulsa or Oklahoma City, OK. 

 

Our Tulsa/OKC office is looking for a talented Transportation Engineer to execute a variety of transportation assignments.  The ideal candidate will be familiar with a broad field of engineering and knowledge of other disciplines' effects. The Project Engineer develops plans and reports for transportation projects according to established engineering standards and local, state, and/or federal policies and requirements. This role will involve CEI - Construction Engineering & Inspection projects. 

 

Your Role: 

·         Manage construction contracts in the field, ODOT and OTA)  

·         Issue change orders, pay estimates, final estimate, audit, and close out. 

·         Develop and maintain close working relationships with clients, in particular states & municipalities. 

·         Write a scope of work for Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) management services based on preliminary review and meetings with the clients 

·         Act as a technical advisor to less experienced engineers and technicians; manage and mentor staff 

·         Coordinate all aspects of project documentation within the company and externally with clients 

·         Acquire new projects from existing and potential clients  

 

 

Qualifications: 

·         Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering 

·         Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Oklahoma, required 

·         4+ years of relevant engineering experience; ODOT and OTA experience is strongly preferred 

·         Valid Driver's License with and acceptable driving record. Will require the operation of a company vehicle to project sites 

·         Working knowledge of stormwater and utility design a plus 

·         Must be proficient in Excel &Word. Micro Station, Site Manager, EPPS, project Wise, is a plus 

·         Position requires periodic field site visits in state, approximately 1 hour of travel daily
