Job Description:

The Pharmacy Clinical Specialist provides comprehensive pharmaceutical care through integrated drug distribution,patient counseling, teaching and involvement with the care team for all applicable patients. The Pharmacy Clinical Specialist will fill orders for medications.


Qualifications

Education:

Bachelors or Doctorate degree in Pharmacy (BS Pharm or PharmD) from an accredited institution.

Experience:

Minimum of two years (2) required experience, preferably in a hospital setting. A residency in the field of specialty is desired.

Technical Skills:

Automation experience with knowledge of reporting features. Microsoft Office and knowledge of hospital information system.

License/Certification:

Current Pharmacist License in the State of Nevada

Other:

A pharmacy residency and/or board certification is desirable
