Job Description:

This position maintains a smooth flow of anesthetic cases, in a timely manner, by assisting the anesthesiologist before, during, and after induction. Has a working knowledge of anesthetic drugs and agents. Can pre-test the anesthesia machines and reports deficiency to appropriate manufacturing representee and leadership. Upon request, is able to prepare appropriate equipment necessary for invasive pressure lines, central venous lines, and regional blocks. Is available to assist in room turnover as required.


Qualifications

Shift: PRN- VARIED

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Experience:

Minimum one (1) year experience as an anesthesia technician or technologist.

Technical Skills:

License/Certification:

Certification as Anesthesia Technician by the American Society of Anesthesia Technicians and Technologist preferred. Associates of BS degree in a healthcare field preferred. Current BLS certification required. Certification is required.

Other:

Must be able to use PC for billing, QI, and inventory management.

Compensation Information:
$22.16 / Hourly - $22.16 / Hourly


Starting At: 22.16 Hourly
Up To: 29.36 Hourly
