Description

The Villages Health located in central Florida is seeking a skilled and compassionate Gynecologist to join our multi- specialty team specializing in the care of a rapidly growing active community. Candidate would perform a variety office-based procedures. Surgical procedures would be performed in an ASC located in our principal office or in a university affiliated hospital offering robotic surgery.

We have a growing need for gynecological care tailored to the unique needs and challenges faced our diverse population. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the health and well-being of our very active community in Central Florida.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive gynecological care to our active patients, including routine screenings, examinations, diagnostic procedures and surgical conditions.
  • Assess and manage gynecological conditions such as menopause, osteoporosis, pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, and other female issues.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare team members to coordinate care and develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
  • Educate patients about preventive measures, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications to promote optimal gynecological health.
  • Perform appropriate surgical and medical procedures when necessary, adhering to best practices and ensuring patient safety.
  • Stay current with advancements in gynecology through continuing education and participation in development activities.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
Qualifications:
  • MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
  • Active Florida medical license or the ability to obtain one.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate bedside manner.
  • Ability to work collaboratively.
  • Dedication to providing patient-centered care.
