Trinity Health Of New England is seeking a Board Certified, Fellowship trained Advanced Heart Failure Specialist to join the Heart Failure team based at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center located in Hartford, Connecticut.

This is an exceptional opportunity to:

  • Join our growing heart failure team of advanced heart failure cardiologists, APPs, and nurses as a member of the larger multidisciplinary team of interventionalists, invasive and noninvasive cardiologists, electrophysiologists, advanced imaging and structural heart specialists, cardiothoracic surgeons, advanced practitioners, and nurses who are dedicated to providing unrivaled cardiac care at one of New Englands highest-volume cardiovascular institutes.
  • Help expand the Advanced Heart Failure Left Ventricular Assist Device LVAD therapy program.
  • Offer state of art guideline directed medical therapy optimization.
  • Perform advanced heart failure evaluations, cardiopulmonary stress tests.
  • Work with the multidisciplinary team to include TAVR, Mitral clip and CT surgery, as necessary.
  • Provide same day access care and transitional care management.
  • Be supported with advanced imaging modalities including cardiac PET-CT, Pyrophosphate scintigraphy and cardiac MRI.
  • Hold academic appointment if desired at University of Connecticut School of Medicine and the Frank H. Netter MD School of Medicine at Quinnipiac University.

The successful candidate should be:

  • Board Eligible/Certified in Cardiology and Advanced Heart Failure
  • Fellowship trained in Advanced Heart Failure
  • Licensed in Connecticut
  • US ACGME residency trained.
