Trinity Health IHA Medical Group has an excellent full-time employment opportunity for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join a busy, well-established multi-specialty group located in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
The practice consists of three surgeons, Cardiothoracic APP Providers (who provide 24/7/365 coverage), a Practice Manager, Registered Nurses, Medical Assistants, and clerical support. The call for this opportunity is shared equitably between the surgeons.
This practice maintains a close working relationship with Trinity Health Michigan Heart, a large Cardiology group with over 40 providers. It is the single surgical group at Trinity Health Ann Arbor Hospital, where all surgeries are performed. The practice has a dedicated Anesthesia and OR nursing team with a state-of-the-art operative facility including a hybrid room and state of the art simulation center.
This practice provides a wide variety of procedures including:
- Complex aortic surgery
- Reconstructive aortic and mitral surgery
- Endo vascular procedures
- daVinci robotic procedures
- Coronary artery bypass with arterial grafts
- Ross Procedure
- TAVR
- MAZE Procedure
