Summary of Job Duties: Under general direction, works to plan, develop and deploy responsive websites including designing web architecture. Creates websites using WordPress, HTML or other web-based programming languages and ensures site functionality in a twenty-four hour, seven days a week environment. Knowledge of server side scripting language such as PHP. May lead large development projects. May design and implement databases and web applications. Responsible for maintaining functioning user-accessible websites.

Knowledge Of
- Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3.
- Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS.
- Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery.
- Proficient understanding of WordPress and the Genesis Framework.
- Good understanding of advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks, such as ReactJS.
- Knowledge of image authoring tools for image adjustments.
- Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and how to work around them.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
- Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that applications adhere to them.
