Sign-on Bonus of $10,000 

 

In this role as an Imaging Team Leader you will be responsible for maintaining continuity in the day-to-day operations of the MRI section in the Department of Radiology. As well as act as a resource person to the other technologists.

 

Essential Job Functions:

  • Has a knowledge of and utilizes appropriate patient care protocol relating to the physical and psychological needs of neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, young and mature adults, and geriatric patients.
  • Assigns the technical staff to work stations. Using the posted work schedule as a guide. Distributes the work to technical staff controlling patient/work flow.
  • Reviews Radiology request for the proper completion of exam data.  Ensures correct data is entered into RIS.
  • Perform mammography procedures to demonstrate sectional anatomic images for interpretation by or at the request of a licensed practitioner.
  • The technologist will provide appropriate patient care and recognize patient's conditions essential for successful completion of the procedures. 
  • The services are provided in accordance with industry standards, department protocols and hospital policies and procedures.
  • Acts as a key contact person for the section; works with physicians, nursing floors, radiologists, and ICLr to prioritize and coordinate the daily work load as appropriate.
  • Acts as a leader and role model for staff technologists.

Required Qualifications:

  • Current registry by ARRT, ARDMS, or NMTCB and licensure by the State of Illinois (IEMA)
  • Minimum of three years experience as technologist
  • CPR training required, BLS training recommended
  • Effective communication skills
  • Effective communication skills and excellent patient care skills required
  • Excellent leadership skills.
  • Handle high pressure, fast paced work environment
