As Senior Manager of Integrated Media Strategy, you will serve as a critical senior leader on a growing internal media team focused on developing holistic full funnel media strategy, planning, and activation. In partnership with our media agencies and senior leadership, you will be responsible for applying overarching business and brand needs into addressable media opportunities online and offline, ensuring that the total ecosystem of media messages surfaced across the various marketing arms of the business are connected in guiding our total consumer journey. 

This is a new role for the organization and is equal parts advisor and doer. You will operate at the center of several strategy and execution-oriented marketing and media teams, including Brand Media, Social Media, Digital/Performance Marketing, DMPP, and Brand Partner Marketing.

You will support the organization's on-going transition from channel-first to audience-first and will help translate audiences identified through data and research into media targets. The ideal candidate must have experience in connecting the expertise of separate, but cross-functional and interdependent teams and knowing how to apply that expertise to achieve common goals successfully.

You have a transformative mindset and are able to identify gaps within media communication strategies and plans, designing creative solutions through the use of data and insights.





  • Own media strategy from plan to execution with a holistic media perspective to reach business goals. Includes establishing KPIs and key media thresholds for optimal media channel mix, reach, frequency and media flighting as well as first-to-market media strategies increasing scale, brand relevance and impact (online and offline)
  • Create a comprehensive, quarterly testing roadmap to accelerate learnings with key hypotheses, learning goals, measurement plan and reporting, ensuring the media plan progressively improves
  • Manage the day-to-day plan execution with media agencies to relay direction, campaign feedback and develop media campaign
  • Oversee Grand Opening media strategy, working in conjunction with Manager, GO to build scalable process for improvement of media activation
  • Accurately forecast annual, quarterly, monthly and weekly spend and revenue streams
  • Manage media budgets across numerous campaigns, finding efficiencies and improving organization and prioritization of campaigns in flight
  • Manage agency partners and vendors


  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams and Analytics team to determine how to best measure, track, and report total media performance including contribution to Marketing Mix Analysis (MMA)
  • Work in partnership with Performance and Paid Social leadership to develop detailed media plans and buys across channels for TV/video, audio, and digital media including display, streaming audio, short form video and OOH


  • Inspire, mentor and grow a team of individual contributors, model a growth mindset, and contribute as a senior leader within the company
  • Foster a diverse and trusting culture amongst your direct team and more broadly within the organization
  • Be a catalyst for change, setting a clear and comprehensive strategy and held accountable for high caliber strategic output, thought leadership and operational excellence
  • Assess the capabilities and needs of the team to inform strategic hiring decisions
  • Educate team and key stakeholders in media and marketing best practices


  • Minimum 10 years' experience developing media communication strategies across offline/traditional AND digital channels (including paid social) – with a current emphasis on social/digital/connected channels
  • Deep understanding of the media landscape, media consumption, and how to connect strategic thought leadership with activation across both digital and traditional channels
  • You are naturally curious and a student of culture – you like to understand and study consumer behavior to better understand how to craft media strategies
  • You are comfortable managing priorities from different parts of the business and will influence resource allocation based on business impact
  • You will motivate and inspire partner teams towards shared goals
  • You speak the language of your partner teams, translating channel needs and results for the context in which they are delivered
  • An audience-first mentality with experience developing smart segmentation strategies and multi-channel customer journeys
  • Experience connecting channel growth with broader company objectives and goals
  • Strong critical thinking and communication skills – comfortable leading, presenting and contributing at all levels
  • A dual-brained thinker – strong analytics approach to data and measurement, but able to extract the relevant and actionable insights that generate consumer (thus business) action
  • Strong analytical approach to media measurement across total investments
  • Must have experience working in matrixed organization settings and managing/influencing various external agency partners (brand media, paid social, digital) and connected business units
