Description

The Education Programs Coordinator will work with the Associate Director of Education and Public Programs and other museum staff to develop, implement, and evaluate innovative programs inspired by UCR ARTS' photography and contemporary art exhibitions for middle school, high school, college, and adult audiences.

The salary range for the Museum Education Program Coordinator is $49,800 - $84,200 annually. The expected pay scale for this position is up to $53,352 annually. We base placement within these ranges on the individual's qualifications as they relate to this position.

Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.

As a university employee, you will be required to comply with all applicable University policies and/or collective bargaining agreements, as may be amended from time to time. Federal, state, or local government directives may impose additional requirements. Education Education Requirements Degree Requirement Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training. Required

Minimum Requirements Working knowledge of departmental and organization policies and procedures; knowledge of educational program content and objectives.
Working knowledge of delivering public educational programs.
Working knowledge of conducting needs assessment.
Good analytical skills to understand how business needs can be addressedthrough the design and delivery of training programs.
Working skills to produce and deliver programs.
Good reading, verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, and good presentation skills.
Working knowledge of current public education programs and trends.
Solid knowledge of marketing principles, concepts, strategies and best practices.
Organizational skills and skills in ?le creation, maintenance and management
Written and interpersonal communication skills.
Knowledge of customer service standards/procedures.
Solid knowledge of institutional products and services.
Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of the campus and including its achievements, mission, vision, goals, objectives and infrastructure.
