Come join our dynamic team of highly skilled IT professionals as we build, implement and support one of the largest PeopleSoft Payroll implementations hosted at Oracle Managed Cloud Services. The UC Office of the President is actively seeking a Technical PeopleSoft Operations Manager to lead critical projects with enterprise-wide impact across all the campuses / medical centers and the Office of the President at all levels. Here you will have the ability to make a difference and have a real influence in how we can best manage and support this large implementation.

We are looking for an experienced technical PeopleSoft Operations Manager with a broad set of skills including systems, database and application management. Having a wide breadth of experience, the manager applies business process and analysis with organizational objectives to resolve complex issues with multi-campus impact. The ideal candidate will provide and develop standard processes and procedures to manage and support for all the major technical components of our PeopleSoft HCM implementation and well as monitor, tune, and recommend and initiate changes in the PeopleSoft architecture to improve performance and efficiency.

We are looking for a strong self starter who is passionate about pushing optimization and enhancing performance across large and extremely complex system environments. You will posses excellent project management skills and the ability to manage and guide a diverse team of highly skilled individuals while managing competing priorities in a fastpaced environment. Core responsibilities include developing and implementing enterprise standards, policies, and best practices to manage and support our PeopleSoft HCM services that support our large end-user population across multiple organizational units with high consequences of success or failure.

Under the direction of the Director, Cloud Hosting Services, the PeopleSoft Operations Manager oversees and manages the PeopleSoft Operational Support team that consist of system administrators, middleware and SOA admins, intregration analysts and release engineers. In addition to collaborating with core project team members, stakeholders, subject matter experts, and technical counterparts, the incumbent will manage the daily operational workload of the staff and mentor those less experience with PeopleSoft and the underlying technologies. The successful candidate will define tasks and make assignments and ensure that delivery of tasks is being completed.
