Department of Radiological Sciences
- BA, BS, and experience in personnel administration or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Extensive knowledge of UC Academic Personnel policies and procedures.
- Excellent writing skills; use of proper grammar, spelling, punctuation and syntax, and typing skills with speed and accuracy required.
- Demonstrated skill in analyzing information, problems, situations, practices and procedures to define the problem or objective; identify relevant concerns or factors; identify patterns, tendencies and relationships; formulate logical and objective conclusions; recognize alternatives and their implications.
- Skill in speaking clearly and distinctly using appropriate vocabulary and grammar to obtain and convey information to individuals at various organizational levels.
- Strong organizational and teamwork skills.
- Skill in working independently and following through on assignments with minimal direction.
- Demonstrated experience working with confidential information and using sensitivity, tact, and discretion.
- Demonstrated skill to access priorities in order to complete work in a timely manner in an environment of deadline constraints, competing priorities and heavy and changing workload.
- Demonstrated experience with data collections techniques.
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with campus administrators, faculty, staff and students from a variety of ethnic, social and educational backgrounds and to provide information, identify problems and develop solutions.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively work with various personalities.
- Ability to be sensitive to different cultures and backgrounds.
- Working knowledge of UC Human Resources and labor relations policies and procedures. Extensive knowledge of Equal Opportunity and Diversity initiatives as they relate to the University of California
- May require work outside of normal business hours. May require travel other locations in Orange County, CA.
