Position Summary: Under the supervision of the Principal Investigators and senior staff, the incumbent performs innovative research projects involving animal surgical models for medical device development and evaluation. The incumbent is responsible for contributing to the design and implementation of experiments, resolves scientific problems, conducts data analysis and prepares results for publication.

Required:
  • Experience in animal surgical models of tissue regeneration and animal husbandry 
  • Generation and organization of laboratory research data. 
  • Ability to define problems, identify relevant factors, develop innovative techniques to solve research problems, compile data and make recommendations. 
  • Experience managing multiple research projects. 
  • Computer skills include Word, PowerPoint, Photoshop, Excel, EndNote and GraphPad Prism. 
  • Knowledge of university purchasing procedures. 
  • Demonstrated organizational and record keeping skills with meticulous attention to detail. 
  • Skill for performing general lab maintenance.
    Preferred:
  • Strong background in regenerative medicine Flexible working hours/schedule
