UPMC?s Heart & Vascular Institute (HVI) seeks a full-time, interventional cardiologist to join its expanding team. The successful candidate will enjoy a clinical academic appointment and provide interventional and clinical services at its UPMC North Hills Passavant (NHP) locations.

About The Practice
The HVI at UPMC Passavant, in collaboration with its Pittsburgh based interventional colleagues, provides 24/7 STEMI coverage. Procedures include diagnostic and interventional heart catheterizations, TEE?s, cardioversions, temporary and permanent pacemakers, Intra-aortic Balloon Pumps, cardiac assist devices as well as peripheral angiogram and interventions by vascular surgery. In addition, our UPMC Passavant site provides full EP services including arrhythmia ablations and defibrillator/CRT device implantations, a full spectrum of structural heart procedures including TAVR and LAAO procedures, in addition to cardiothoracic surgeries. HVI's service at UPMC Passavant McCandless and Cranberry is comprised of 12 full-time cardiologists, as well as 8 APPs serving two suburban areas near Pittsburgh. In addition to these full-time providers, there are services provided by 3 Electrophysiologists (including pacemaker clinic), a Heart Failure specialists, vascular surgeons and cardiothoracic surgery. HVI?s outpatient offices located inside UPMC Passavant McCandless and Cranberry offer a full range of diagnostic services, ECGs, holter monitoring, echocardiography and nuclear stress testing.
