The Centralized Monitor Tech will have a light workload with many hours of sitting and performing repetitive tasks. Manages stress appropriately and can make decisions under pressure and handle multiple priorities. The minimum requirements of this position require the individual to: stand, lift, bend, walk, answer phones, use computer, have clarity of vision, and hear alarms/telephone/normal speaking voices.

Education: Vocational or technical training in EKG monitoring and interpretation preferred.
Experience: Less than one (1) year is required. A minimum of one (1) year of hospital/monitor tech experience is preferred.
Skills/Abilities: Organizational, critical thinking, multi-tasking, and communication skills in a detail-oriented, customer-focused organization are required. Basic computer skills are required. Ability to successfully pass hospital EKG competency program is required. Ability to monitor telemetry from multiple areas at centralized location required.
