Assists the pharmacists in completion of professional and technical services performed by the department of pharmacy. These services would include inpatient, outpatient, extended care facilities, and quality assurance activities. Performs stocking, inventory control, preparation, labeling, pricing, and associated functions. *CA
Work related Experience: Prior experience in a comparable hospital setting preferred.
Formal Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Additional relevant experience/education or certification required: After one year of pharmaceutical training, the individual must obtain a pharmacy technician certification as required by West Virginia law. National Certification preferred.
