Description

We are looking for an Account Executive to create and nurture long-term relationships with Commercial Brokerages and Commercial Real Estate Industry Principals. You will identify, contact, and meet with key contacts in the Commercial Real Estate community to create awareness and sell Yardi Commercial Broker Products. You will drive adoption and promote Commercial Café and any corresponding commercial broker tools. You will discover and help resolve any issues that arise to ensure customers are satisfied with our services.

In this role, you should be an excellent communicator who is able to grasp customer needs and brainstorm ways to fulfill them. Your goal will be to help us build relationships with commercial brokers, safeguard our revenue, and retain our customers while introducing them to new Yardi Commercial Broker tools.

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with key employees among customers
  • Identify new potential customers and schedule sales meetings
  • Advise clients on how to maximize use of Yardi Commercial tools
  • Schedule regular meetings with customers to ensure they are satisfied
  • Act as point of contact for complaints and escalate issues as appropriate
  • Help sales team up-sell or cross-sell services and products
  • Study competition to find new ways to retain customers
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g. sales, development, senior management) to address customers' needs

Requirements

  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets
  • 2+ years of relevant sales experience; Commercial Brokerage industry knowledge is a plus
  • A customer-oriented attitude
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Problem-solving aptitude
  • Ability to work well with a team
  • BS/BA in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field
