Join Yardi as a Cloud Systems Engineer I and play a vital role in maintaining and optimizing our SaaS environments for clients worldwide. As part of our 24x7x365 Cloud Services team, you will provide Level 1 and Level 2 support, ensuring our systems run smoothly and efficiently.

What You'll Do:

• Provide Level I and II support for diagnosing and resolving issues on Windows servers and clients.
• Administer, configure, troubleshoot, and optimize physical and virtual Windows servers and Linux systems in a 24x7 cloud environment following established procedures.
• Collaborate with a global team through various communication channels.
• Create and configure virtual machines to meet client needs.
• Monitor system performance, analyze issues, and respond to system alerts.
• Review cloud environment dashboards to troubleshoot and understand the system.
• Escalate complex issues to the Team Leader or appropriate Cloud Services team member.
• Manage small-scale projects to process system updates across multiple machines.
• Utilize and write basic scripting languages for project implementation.
• Proactively identify and troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot applications.
• Support Active Directory for application access and user management.
• Maintain and update existing documentation.
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation to ensure continuous support.

Who You Are:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Three (3) years' Help Desk, IT Support, or Systems Administration experience.
• Relevant industry certification preferably MSCE or RHCE.
• Strong sense of customer service with good analytical and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
• A passion for technology and strong problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with the desire to take ownership of a problem and see it through to resolution.
• Must enjoy being part of a team and dealing with people.
• Strong troubleshooting and system analysis skills.
• Strong desire to learn new technologies and technical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent time management and prioritization skills.

Ideal to have:

• Experience in a Cloud or Enterprise environment.
• Experience configuring, administering, and troubleshooting Windows Server 2016/2019/2022.
• Experience with Microsoft Hyper-V and System Center Configuration Manager (MECM)
• Experience with VMWare.
• Experience with containers and management tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of open source monitoring tools such as ELK, Icinga, and Graphite
• Knowledge of Linux
• Knowledge of scripting languages including PowerShell and Python
• Knowledge of NetApp and Dell hardware
