Protect life and property on Alliance Community Hospital premises. Patrol buildings, lots, and grounds to protect from fire, thefts, and vandalism. Responsible to lock and unlock entrance doors. Respond to all security needs. Provide visible deterrence to crime.
EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE:
High school graduate or equivalent, previous law enforcement/security experience preferred. If no police/ security experience a security training certificate must be obtained within 6 months. Valid State of Ohio driver's license.
Must be computer literate to complete task(s) as required. Such as MediTech (Hospital Support Software), Halogen (performance appraisal system) Relias (education system), ability to retrieve e-mails, complete online enrollment for health insurance/benefits and any other programs as assigned.
TASER Training required within three months of hire and maintained.
Crisis Intervention and De-Escalation (CIDE) training and/or CPI Certified within three months of hire and maintained.
CPI Certification will be required by year end 2020.
CPR within three months of hire acquired through American Heart Association and maintained.
