The Highlights: The International Admission Coordinator is responsible for  managing an assigned recruitment territory and all aspects of advising and recruiting students educated outside the USA. Primary responsibilities include coordinating all in-office yield and recruitment events, planning special group visits pertinent to the support of International Admissions, managing all Online leads and inquiries and overseeing the Global Ambassador Program. This position plays an important role in the international admissions office, in the areas of app review, communication, recruitment, credential evaluation and yield activities.

What You'll Do:

  • Engagement Coordinator
    • Manage all aspects of inquiry and digital leads for International Admission and manage and run the "arm chair" recruitment for International Admissions. Examples of arm chair recruitment may include presentations, webinars, digital student matching, and info sessions. 
    • Coordinate office resources, such as marketing material, give-aways, student worker schedules, etc. 
    • Coordinate on campus visits to International Admissions whether this is for individual students or larger student/counselor groups.
  • International Recruitment
    • Manage an assigned recruitment territory and evaluate education credentials and English proficiency to determine admissibility, following best practices and university policies. Review application and make decisions on assigned case load.  
    • Communicate to students throughout the admission process across various platforms. 
    • Under the direction of Director of UG International Admissions, execute assigned activities in the international market, including recruitment and yield activities.
  • Oversee Global Ambassador Program 
    • Oversee the administration of GAP including guiding assigned staff in hiring, training, and mentoring ambassadors. 
    • Provide insights on utilization of technology to improve program efficiency and student experience. 
    • Coordinate schedules and ensure stipend payments are made.
       

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably with an international emphasis; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of recruitment/admission required, international recruitment/admission preferred. 
  • University admission, marketing experience preferred, extensive cross-cultural experience strongly preferred, most desirably in conjunction with experience living, working, or studying outside of the U.S.
