Job Description

The Quality Engineer will be based Cd. Juárez Chih., this position will be focus on: Coordinate the Quality team effort to delivery excellence to every internal and external customer, develop procedures and WI for the inspection and define, develop and implement Quality Engineering strategies.

Here is a glimpse of what you'll do:

  • Coordinate the Quality team effort to delivery excellence to every internal and external customer.
  • Develop procedures and WI for the inspection.
  • Define, develop and implement Quality Engineering strategies.
  • Establish clear measurable goals and objectives by which to determine individual and team results.
  • Interface and provide technical support on quality issues with the customer as needed.
  • Develop and maintain QA plans and timeliness of global new product introductions utilizing Advanced Product Quality Planning and process Optimization specific to the customer.
  • Audits and Assessments (OBA Audit, First Piece Inspection, FAI, Process Audit and Operations Audit).
  • Review with customer the FAI for new model and get approval from the customer.
  • Daily Process Reports and improvement CLCA.
  • Issuance and follow effectiveness of CAPA based on 5C methodology.
  • Maintain Quality Auditor Headcount according with the production plans.
  • Daily attention to meetings.
  • Board with clients to review priorities.

Here is some of what you'll need (required):

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics/Electromechanical (or similar),
  • Experience with SPC,
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt.
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently,
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (Bilingual),
  • Passport/Visa – Availability to travel.
  • Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions.
  • 5-7 yrs of experience Quality Engineering field
  • Own and resolve internal CAPA(s) and analyze data to determine root cause.
  • Must have experience with data analysis using Minitab 7 software.

  • Issuance and follow effectiveness of CAPA based on 5C methodology.
  • Audits and Assessments (OBA Audit, First Piece Inspection, FAI, Process Audit and Operations Audit).
  • Experience with introduction of new products (PPAP, APQP)
  • Daily Process Reports and improvement CLCA.
  • Experience in Electronics Industry
  • Production tours.
  • Follow-up of production plans with the CFT.
  • Strategic Planning.
  • Customer Satisfaction.
