Job Summary

RADA USA is seeking a Technical Program Manager (TPM) Lead to manage multiple initiatives of substantial importance to the company with minimal oversight or direction. The TPM Lead will develop and administer budgets, schedules, and performance standards, solve issues that impede program progress, and enable the engineering team to focus on their tasks. The TPM will collect status across the department every week and provide an executive summary the leadership. The TPM Lead will also participate in new business activities, including proposals, preparing bids, and developing basis of estimates.

Job Responsibilities
  • Serve as the direct interface with program management, production, and customers regarding all engineering planning and activities.
  • Lead briefings and technical meetings for internal and external stakeholders/customers.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for technical, cost, and schedule performance of specific development efforts.
  • Collaborate frequently with multiple functions (PMO, engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, etc.) and the program office.
  • Monitor engineering performance, address issues immediately, and implement corrective actions and recovery plans expeditiously.
  • Report weekly on status of all activities within the department
  • Support multidisciplinary program reviews and presentations throughout different phases of development, certification, and production readiness with internal and external stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Ability to convey complex technical information clearly and concisely, including executive presentations and program updates with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong engineering analytical and technical writing skills, excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to build relationships with external organizations.
  • Demonstrated understanding of radar system operation, I&T, requirements verification, repair, and sustainment.

 

Desired Qualification
  • 5-10 years of experience in project leadership, including cost and schedule or in technical capacity on complex military electronics subsystems.
  • Experience developing and maintaining complex integrated master schedules.
  • Experience developing technical baselines and cost volumes in response to Requests for Proposals.
  • Experience as an Earned Value Management System (EVMS) Control Account Manager (CAM).
  • Experience preparing and executing technical and independent reviews (SRRs, PDRs, CDRs, TRRs, IRRs).
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Effective communication skills in a collaborative team environment.
  • Experience developing and maintaining complex integrated master schedules.
  • Experience developing technical baselines and cost volumes in response to Requests for Proposals.

U.S. Citizenship required. This position requires an active DOD security clearance or the ability to obtain such clearance within a reasonable time after commencement of employment.
