Summary

The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for partnering with various business units to analyze industry and consumer trends, providing insights to drive sales growth and strengthen RNDC's position as a top distributor of choice. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills and clear communication abilities, working with data from multiple sources to support key strategic projects, develop supplier strategies, and coordinate meetings and presentations. They will also contribute to business intelligence projects, innovate reporting methods, and collaborate with data teams to establish reporting standards and create KPI dashboards, reports, and self-service BI tools while ensuring data integrity and analytical needs are met.

In this role, you will
  • Analyze and consolidate data from diverse sources including data warehouse, CRM, TABS, Mintel, Nielsen, consumer and category data, and internal files.
  • Provide essential support for critical strategic projects and initiatives.
  • Play a pivotal role in crafting supplier strategies to enhance RNDC's growth and performance.
  • Efficiently coordinate and deliver meetings and presentations for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare and present at Top-to-Top meetings, RFP Requests, and Annual Business Planning sessions.
  • Contribute to company-wide business intelligence projects to improve standardization and operational efficiency.
  • Spearhead innovation in reporting and analytics methods, continually enhancing data insights.
  • Develop advanced data collection techniques by harnessing emerging tools and technologies.
  • Collaborate closely with data teams and stakeholders to define reporting standards and create KPI dashboards, reports, and self-service BI tools.
  • Execute data collection and transformation for large-scale projects with precision and expertise.
  • Ensure data integrity and meet analytical needs through collaboration with IT, MDM, and the NASA Analytics team.
     
What you bring to RNDC
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in Business Administration, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field is required.  
  • 5+ years of relevant data analytics or business strategy experience (preferably within the alcohol beverage industry).   An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will also be considered. 
  • Expertise in Nielsen reporting and insights.
  • Advanced knowledge of Internet, Microsoft Office Suite software (such as Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, Power Automate, Sharepoint, etc.), and order processing systems (such as AS400 / Alpha Database software, Logility, MicroStrategy, and etc.) or the aptitude to learn.   Proficiency in Business Intelligence software (MicroStrategy, Power BI).
