UCR Extension is the continuing and professional education division of the University of California, Riverside offering over 80 programs and certificates to domestic and international students. The Academic Services Department at UCR Extension provides services to the organization in relation to the coordination of the academic program review and revision processes; curriculum documentation; oversight of academic programming quality; and teaching agreement execution and documentation in information management systems. Reporting to the Academic Services Director, the Academic Services Coordinator is the liaison between University Extension and campus Schools, Colleges, and Academic Senate for matters concerning academic programing and instructor approvals. The Academic Services Coordinator is a resource to Extensions academic departments by providing guidance in support of program quality control and adherence to established policy. Advanced interpersonal skills to work with and gain trust from department senior management, faculty, external stakeholders, fundraisers and students.
Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of university policies and systems.
Familiarity with basic academic standards for determining unit allocations, online course delivery systems, and online course evaluation systems.
Familiarity with DesitnyOne and Filemaker Pro products.
