Description

The primary responsibility of the Specialist –Talent Acquisition is to provide support to the Talent Acquisition team in the Employment Center. Responsibilities include answering the telephones, sending e-mail communications to applicants, updating records and reports, managing the background check process, and all other duties as assigned. All duties are performed in accordance with departmental and Wind Creek Bethlehem LLC (“Wind Creek”) policies, practices, and procedures.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Arrive for shift on time and in proper attire.
  • Performs administrative duties: reads and sorts mail, makes photocopies, and sends faxes.
  • Responsible for background check submissions and all follow-ups associated with a background check.
  • Acts as the liaison between the candidate and investigator when background check information is missing. 
  • Responsible for all aspects of the quarterly photo ID badge audits including communications and spreadsheet updates.
  • Answers multi-line telephone, provides up-to-date and accurate information, and takes messages as required in the Employment Center.
  • Assists applicants with computer for application and license processing.
  • Assists pre-screeners with appointments.
  • Assists in evaluating and monitoring interview schedules to ensure recruiter availability. 
  • Maintains highly confidential policy and team member information.
  • Works in Applicant Tracking System to take detailed notes and move applications through the various steps in the process.
  • Greets and screens visitors in person and on the telephone.
  • Properly use equipment, tools or systems to complete assigned tasks and complies with company safety standards.
  • Develop a working knowledge of any PGCB rules, regulations and Internal Controls applicable to your position.
  • Complete all paperwork in accordance with PGCB and approved Wind Creek standards.
  • Read and understand Wind Creek's Compulsive and Problem Gambling Plan with regards to how to conduct business in this position and specifically the regulations prohibiting service to minors and/or intoxicated persons.
  • Provide superior customer service to all internal and external customers in compliance with Wind Creek's customer service standards.
  • Adhere to and comply with both departmental and overall property policies and procedures.
  • Perform any other related duties as assigned.
