Position Overview
The Regional Revenue Cycle Manager position is responsible for managing and improving the overall billing and revenue performance of their assigned locations and accounts while providing an exceptional level of customer service to our locations.

Essential Job Functions
Investigate and resolve billing concerns escalated from team members and assigned locations
Work directly with locations and payers to build strong relationships
Work with Shared Services reimbursement/collections staff to understand and maintain locations and payers expectations
Manage billing for multiple locations simultaneously
Assist with quality assurance and accuracy of claims review and support of the third party liability process, pended and unbilled accounts receivable
Learn each payer's policies and procedures and make appropriate edits to Aveanna's processes and procedures in order to facilitate proper billing with minimal denials
Educate Locations on new or existing process(s) according to Aveanna and payer billing guidelines
Follow up with locations assure they are in compliance with local, state and federal billing guidelines
Review new client data set up is completed
Assist Locations with reauthorizations from non-Medicaid payers
Assist Locations with payroll/billing process when applicable for each assigned location
Review month end reports for each assigned location
Identify trends and issues, communicate issues and proposed solutions to location staff/RCM
Prepare for and conduct monthly status meetings with each assigned location.
Participate in bi-weekly meetings or when applicable with RCM team to discuss location specific issues
Maintain positive relationships with locations and RCM
Complete ad-hoc department report(s)

Associates degree in healthcare or related field preferred but not required; may substitute degree for 2 years of related experience
Minimum 2 years medical billing experience
Knowledge of Aveanna process is preferred but not required
Understands and knows how to handles reimbursement and minor coding
Proven ability to manage a multitude of responsibilities while meeting objectives and working with teams
Ability to plan, organize and prioritize workflow
Ability to travel to assigned territory when necessary
Basic office skills: Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel

Must have visual and hearing acuity

Performs duties in an office environment during agency operating hours
Must be able to function in a wide variety of environments which may involve exposure to allergens and other various conditions
