The Joint Space and Strategic Capabilities Group provides engineering services and analytic support to the Air Force, Space Force, Joint, and Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) clients. This opportunity is for a Functional Manager Oversight Analyst who will support the US Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) Nuclear Command, Control & Communications (NC3) Enterprise Center (NEC). The location is at Offutt AFB, Nebraska. The right candidate will support the oversight and management of critical NC2 and NC3 functions, including survivable and mobile C2 functions. USSTRATCOM is the single operational commander for NC3 and has been assigned increased responsibilities for operations, requirements, systems engineering and integration.
The ideal candidate is highly experienced in NC2/NC3 operations, with expertise in Survivable Mobile Command & Control (SMCC) capabilities and Strategic Communications. #IN123
The right candidate will provide subject matter and technical expertise to the government to support functional management and oversight for NC3. The candidate will provide functional management oversight to ensure delivery of assured, resilient and reliable NC3 capabilities in the 21st century. Responsibilities include oversight of operations platforms, communications, and modes of operations, to include current efforts in developing survivable and endurable NC2/NC3 capabilities.
- Knowledge of survivable and endurable NC2/NC3 capabilities, including Survivable Mobile Command & Control (SMCC) platforms and Strategic Communications capabilities.
- Active TOP SECRET Clearance with eligibility for SCI.
- BA or BS degree +10 years' experience in NC2/NC3 operation capabilities and procedures, including knowledge of operations, platforms, communications, and modes of operations (4 years' experience may be substituted for BA or BS degree).
- Combatant Command TOP experience including participation in various NC2/NC3 forums.
- MA or MS degree.
