Summary of Job Duties: The Outreach Associate will be responsible for managing relationships with local community-based and non-profit organizations, program participants, and community members. The Bilingual Outreach Associate will also track program progress and time-line deliverables to ensure the goals and objectives of the project are met. The Bilingual Outreach Associate engages in a range of activities such as outreach and participant recruitment, participant screening and assessment, health education, care coordination/service navigation, and community education and engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
Develops, coordinates, promotes, and manages relationships and communication with community stakeholders, organizations, clients, and the community at-large. Works with program managers, Assistant Director, and community partners to ensure deliverables are being met.

Works with program managers to develop and deliver appropriate outreach and communication for project. Helps with tracking and reporting on program deliverables through effective communication and organizational skills. Identifies barriers to meeting project goals and utilizes good problem-solving skills to address issues that arise in regard to community and participant relationships, ensuring all program objectives are met and data collection processes and procedures are followed.

Coordinates community outreach and education efforts, facilitates referrals between community members and community-based resources, and provides accurate health information to program participants and community members.
Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, GED, or formal educational equivalent
  • Two years of experience in outreach education or administrative experience
  • Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Must be Bilingual Marshallese/English OR Spanish/English, have good organizational and time management skills, and have effective communication skills.
